What is an Embedded Air caster system?

An embedded air caster system consists of multiple components that work together seamlessly, allowing heavy loads to be moved efficiently and safely. The system includes the following components:

  • Air casters. Equipped with 4 or 6 polyurethane air casters with universal air connectors, allowing the use of custom air hoses.
  • Embedded air control unit. Essential for controlling airflow and optimizing air consumption. Universal air couplings are also used on the control unit, making it compatible with custom air hoses.

 

How it works

The system operates using compressed air supplied to polyurethane air casters via an air control unit. These air casters create a thin layer of air between the load and the surface, virtually eliminating friction. As a result, even heavy loads—up to several tens of tons—can be moved with minimal effort.

Air control plays a crucial role in this process. Precisely matching air pressure and capacity ensures:

  • Optimal system operation.
  • Efficient air consumption.
