Wesley van Gestel

Since 2011, I’ve been working at Aerofilm, where I’m responsible for the daily operations within production and logistics. As team leader, I keep an eye on the process and jump in wherever needed. My main goal is to make sure that all orders go out on time.

My motivation? Achieving our deadlines together as a team. Every day brings its own challenges, but that’s what gives me energy. If everything comes together by the end of the day and we’ve made it happen as a team, I’m satisfied.

One project I particularly enjoyed was the research into membrane quality. By looking critically at how we work and continuously improving, we make our products better every time.

The team trips to Dublin and Italy are unforgettable memories for me. Everything was perfectly organised, and it was great to have fun with colleagues outside of work as well.
