Air casters are indispensable for professional industrial movers. They are ideal for moving machines and can be used in many environments. With industrial relocation, the movements are often sporadic or one-off. Once moved, the machine usually stays in place. With these types of projects, Air casters are widely applicable to easily move large weights. There are only two requirements to successfully use Air casters:
Floor
The floor must be airtight and smooth. In many cases the floor (such as polished concrete floors) already meets this requirement. If not, a solid rubber mat, thin steel or plastic sheets, the floor can be added temporarily to prep for Air casters, making it easy to get started in almost any location.
Air
Compressed air is the key to create the air film between the floor and the objects being moved. It is available in many factories or production plants. If not, there are compressors for rent in almost every town, which makes it easy to get started without any (or very little) investment.
Air casters ensure that the floor is no longer damaged. The floor pressure is kept to a minimum and with a single set you can handle a huge number of different situations. Partly for industrial movers, we have put together the Aerofilm portable Air caster system. This portable rigging kit offers a solution for the most common weight range (between  4.500 kg and 36.000 kg), is quickly operational and can easily be taken anywhere in the transport box, while also requiring minimal investment.
