Air pallets, the ideal air pallet jack
There is a pallet truck at almost every workplace, in every factory or production hall, used to quickly move items in bulk. We have reinvented the pallet truck using Air casters to make moving pallets, machine parts, heavy boxes and any other heavy objects even easier, more ergonomic and safer. In addition, our pallets make it possible to move even larger weights that previously would have taken more man or machine power.
The power of Air casters
By replacing the wheels of the pallet truck with Air casters, the load floats. This makes moving a machine part, pallet or other weight possible with virtually no friction. Wheels have a rotating center, which can make it difficult to get the pallet jack in the right place and result in constant back and forward motion. This is a thing of the past now when you can move freely in all horizontal directions.
When the mass is in motion, it is important to keep the movement under control. To do this, you can add a guide wheel in your Air pallet to help control the mass, moving your load in an even easier and more controlled way.
Move weights safely
Safety is a priority in every production environment. When moving with an Air pallet there is a safety lever that opens the air supply. When let go, the supply will close and interrupt the air film. The Air casters will deflate, and the cargo will immediately stop moving, slowly landing back on the ground. This makes movements with Air casters extremely safe.
A standard pallet truck has a capacity of approximately 1.500 kg. With Air casters, an Aerofilm Air pallet can easily handle a capacity of up to 5.000 kg manually. With a drive, 20.000 kg is possible. This makes the Air pallet not only an alternative to pallet trucks, but also a serious and often cheaper alternative than a forklift.
