In the increasing energy demand and transition from fossil fuels to green(er) energy, a lot is happening in this market. Whether nuclear energy, wind energy or biomass is chosen, the required installations are always large, heavy and must meet the highest safety standards. Air casters have been a proven concept in this industry for decades for moving and positioning machines, parts, supplies and even complete installations. These displacements can take place during production, maintenance and installation, but also in operation as part of the process.
Air caster benefits:

- Budget-friendly. Compared to other techniques, the investment for moving large weights is low.
Air casters are able to almost completely remove any friction between the object to be moved and the floor. Therefore, a weight of 1.000 kg can be moved in a linear motion with only 1 kg of force, safely and accurately, without restricting freedom of movement. This makes it possible to move a transformer, turbine or windmill through a production space, even through spaces where it only just fits.
